This Seller Documentation outlines the necessary steps and documents required for becoming a seller on SHOPDOSE.IN. All sellers must provide valid documentation as part of the registration and onboarding process. By submitting your documents, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth by SHOPDOSE.IN.

1. Required Documents for Seller Registration

To ensure a smooth and secure onboarding process, sellers must provide the following documents:

  • Business Registration: A valid certificate of business registration. This can be a certificate of incorporation (for companies), partnership deed (for partnerships), or any other legally recognized registration document.
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN): A copy of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration certificate, if applicable. If your business is not registered under GST, please provide the reason.
  • PAN Card: A valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) card of the business or the business owner. This is required for tax compliance and payment processing.
  • Bank Account Details: A copy of a cancelled cheque or a bank statement that clearly shows your bank account details (Bank name, Account Number, and IFSC code). This is needed for transferring payments.
  • Identity Proof: A government-issued identity proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, or Voter ID) of the authorized representative of the business.
  • Address Proof: A utility bill (electricity, water, or telephone bill), bank statement, or government-issued letter that confirms the registered business address.
  • Brand Authorization (if applicable): If you are selling branded products, you must provide a brand authorization letter or agreement from the brand owner or distributor.

2. Submission Process

Sellers are required to submit the above documents during the registration process. Documents can be uploaded through the seller portal on SHOPDOSE.IN or sent to the support team at info@shopdose.in.

  • All documents must be clear, legible, and in acceptable file formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF, etc.).
  • Sellers must ensure that the name and other details on their documents match the information provided during registration.
  • SHOPDOSE.IN reserves the right to request additional documents or verification as needed.

3. Verification Process

Once the documents are submitted, SHOPDOSE.IN will verify the following:

  • Business Validity: Confirmation that the business is legally registered and complies with relevant laws.
  • Tax Compliance: Verification of your GST registration (if applicable) and PAN card.
  • Identity Confirmation: Ensuring the identity of the authorized representative matches the provided identity proof.
  • Bank Account: Validating the bank details for payment transfers.

This verification process can take up to 5-7 business days. During this period, you may be contacted for additional information or clarification.

4. Approval and Account Activation

Once the documentation is verified and approved, your seller account will be activated, and you will be able to list products on SHOPDOSE.IN. You will receive an email confirmation upon successful registration and account activation.

If there are any issues with the provided documents or if verification fails, SHOPDOSE.IN will inform you and provide the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

5. Ongoing Compliance

  • Updated Documents: Sellers must keep their documentation up to date. Any changes in business structure, ownership, tax information, or banking details must be promptly reported to SHOPDOSE.IN.
  • Periodic Reviews: SHOPDOSE.IN may perform periodic reviews of seller accounts and documentation to ensure continued compliance with the platform’s policies.

6. Penalties for Non-Compliance

Failure to submit accurate and valid documentation can result in the suspension of the seller account. SHOPDOSE.IN reserves the right to terminate the account if fraudulent or false documents are submitted.

7. Data Privacy and Security

SHOPDOSE.IN takes the privacy and security of seller data seriously. All personal and business information provided will be stored securely and used only for the purposes of account management, payment processing, and compliance with applicable laws.

We comply with all relevant data protection regulations, including the Privacy Policy of SHOPDOSE.IN, which outlines how your personal and business data is collected, used, and protected.

8. Changes to Documentation Requirements

SHOPDOSE.IN reserves the right to update or change the documentation requirements at any time. Sellers will be notified of any such changes via email or within the seller portal. Failure to provide updated documentation may result in account suspension or termination.
