Seller Terms and Conditions for SHOPDOSE.IN
Effective Date: 1st April 2025
Introduction
The following Seller Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern the relationship between the seller (“Seller”) and SHOPDOSE.IN (“We”, “Our”, “Us”) when listing and selling products on our fashion marketplace. By registering as a seller and listing products on SHOPDOSE.IN, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1. Seller Eligibility
To become a seller on SHOPDOSE.IN, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a legally registered business entity (sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, etc.) or an individual who has the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
- Provide valid identification and documentation when requested.
- Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Have an active bank account to receive payments.
2. Listing of Products
- Product Categories: Sellers may only list fashion-related products on SHOPDOSE.IN, including clothing, accessories, footwear, and beauty products. Each product must be accurately categorized.
- Product Information: Sellers must provide complete and accurate details about their products, including product name, description, price, size, and available stock. Misleading, fraudulent, or incomplete product information will result in removal from the platform and potential account suspension.
- Product Availability: Sellers must ensure that products listed for sale are available for shipping. If a product is out of stock, it should be removed from the platform promptly.
- Pricing: Sellers are responsible for setting the prices of their products. All prices must be in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
3. Seller Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Sellers must process and ship orders promptly. Any delays in order fulfillment must be communicated to the buyer and SHOPDOSE.IN.
- Shipping & Delivery: Sellers must ensure that orders are shipped to the buyer within the specified time frame. Sellers are responsible for the packaging and delivery of products.
- Returns and Refunds: Sellers are required to comply with the SHOPDOSE.IN return and refund policies. They must accept returns in cases where the product is defective, damaged, or does not match the description.
- Customer Service: Sellers are responsible for addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner. All communication with customers should be clear, prompt, and courteous.
4. Prohibited Products
The following types of products are prohibited on SHOPDOSE.IN:
- Counterfeit or pirated goods.
- Products that infringe on intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyrights, patents).
- Items that are illegal, offensive, or harmful.
- Products that do not comply with Indian consumer protection laws.
5. Seller Fees and Commissions
- Transaction Fees: SHOPDOSE.IN charges a commission on each successful sale made on the platform. The percentage of the commission varies based on product categories and other factors.
- Payment Fees: A processing fee may apply to payments made to sellers. This fee is deducted from the total payment before it is transferred to the seller’s account.
- Fee Adjustments: SHOPDOSE.IN reserves the right to adjust fees and commissions at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes.
6. Seller Account Suspension and Termination
SHOPDOSE.IN may suspend or terminate a seller’s account for any of the following reasons:
- Violation of SHOPDOSE.IN’s policies or this Agreement.
- Providing false or misleading information.
- Engaging in fraudulent activity.
- Consistently poor customer feedback or failure to fulfill orders.
- Failure to meet legal or regulatory obligations.
- Sellers may terminate their account at any time by contacting SHOPDOSE.IN support.
7. Liability and Indemnity
- Seller Liability: Sellers are solely responsible for the legality, quality, and safety of the products they sell. SHOPDOSE.IN is not liable for any damages arising from the products listed or sold by the seller.
- Indemnity: Sellers agree to indemnify and hold harmless SHOPDOSE.IN, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their use of the platform, product listings, or failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement.
8. Confidentiality
Sellers must keep confidential any proprietary information provided by SHOPDOSE.IN, including access credentials, sales data, and customer information.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India.
- Disputes: In the event of a dispute, sellers agree to resolve the issue through negotiations with SHOPDOSE.IN. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be settled through arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10. Changes to the Agreement
SHOPDOSE.IN reserves the right to amend or update these Seller Terms and Conditions at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes. Continued use of the platform after changes have been made will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
